Five on Friday: Projects

Happy Friday Sweet Friends!!

It was nice as I actually got a little free time this week to work on some projects that I've had sitting in wait. So I thought I'd share some peeks with you today.

ONE

I found some St. Patty's Day cupcake liners and toppers I forgot I'd picked up a while back. So of course Annie & I had to make some fun cupcakes for yesterday's dessert!

TWO

I needed to add some things to some previous years in Annie's school years scrapbook - so I finally took care of some of that.

THREE

I like that there's a spot they can add a photo of baby on the cover.

I found this teddy bear and had to add him to the cover of the baby album. So cute!!

Once I know Baby Boy's name I'll add it to the first page banner (at the top) before giving my Cousin and his Wife the album.

I also started work on the baby boy scrapbook gift I'm making for my cousin's new baby due early summer.

FOUR

I decided to work on some Spring cards and here's an Easter one I completed.  I love using many different kinds of materials - lace ribbon, a canvas tag, silk flowers, and of course sticker embellishments. So fun to get creative!

FIVE

I've also been digging through other things I've picked up here and there and I'm working on some ideas for some future projects too! I have fun summer idea brewing for some of these above goodies. ;)  Loving the possibilities...

I'm linking with Amy of Love Made My Home for Five on Friday.

  9. Yay, some free time for crafting! It often gets pushed to the back of the queue what with everything else, doesn't it? Have a super weekend, Carrie :-) xx

    1. Yes! Thanks Alison. It really does get pushed last on the list - but it brings me such happiness and peace. When I really get back to it I always wonderful why I'm not doing it more regularly! Lol

  11. I'm still reading Five on Friday postings. Will I ever recover from this dreadful 2016 beginning and catch up with myself? I still cry every day because I miss my brother and my kitty so much. I know that it's therapeutic and tell myself that "This, too, shall pass". I try to stay busy until time works its magic, but I'm still behind on chores and books.

In the meantime, I hope you ate one of your cupcakes so I don't feel so guilty about ignoring my healthy eating plan.

Keep creating. It makes us happy and you do it so well.

    1. I hear ya Patsy! I'm still catching up on everything too. I was gone this weekend so I'm all behind. Lol

Yes, give yourself the time you need sweet Gal!! Prayers for your continued healing.

I did eat a cupcake - but I"m still working hard on exercise to balance everything out. Focusing more on "health" overall than even weight loss. It's nice as my hubby is more on board this time too - and he's lost 12 pounds! Why is it so much easier for men?? ::sigh:: WE'll just keep at it Lady - and each day is a new day. Isn't that a wonderful thing? ;) xo
