Happy Homemaker Monday

Hi Friends ~

Happy Monday to you. I hope had a wonderful weekend! We had a good one here getting things accomplished, running errands and getting groceries. Took Annie to see Jumanji, along with her friend. It was a really cute movie and she loved it. It was the first weekend I truly felt better and had more energy since my chest cold/flu bug.  So I'm ready to tackle this week ahead.

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS:

Sunny and in the upper 30's. It's so nice the sunshine actually feels warm again. It's supposed to be pretty decent and in the 30's and 40's all week with more sunshine.

ON THE BREAKFAST PLATE THIS MORNING:

1/2 a bagel and 1/2 a grapefruit and a cup of coffee.

RIGHT NOW I AM:

Listening to Joshua Bell music on Pandora and going through my planner for this month

AS I LOOK OUTSIDE MY WINDOW

Enjoying the sunshine streaming through my window and loving the big fluffy white clouds in the sky

AS I LOOK AROUND THE HOUSE:

I was already tidying up some weekend messes this AM and so everything looks bright and so pretty with all the flowers and Easter things everywhere

ON THIS WEEK'S TO DO LIST:

Annie's ortho appointment. Lunch out with my Aunt. Visit MIL and cooking and baking for my FIL. Run some things to my Mom. Started cleaning out my closet and going through all my jewelry and will get those jobs finished this week. My hospice volunteer day as usual. Annie's indoor soccer.

CURRENTLY READING:

Nothing currently - lots of magazines

ON THE TV TODAY:

Timeless, The Spring Baking Championship, The Good Doctor, The Resident, American Idol, This is Us, Will and Grace, Greys Anatomy, Gold Rush, Survivor

ON THE MENU THIS WEEK:

MONDAY: pizza sliders, veggies and I baked some banana split cookies this weekend and will share recipe end of this post

TUESDAY: meatloaf, cheesy potatoes (with the butter and cornflake topping - Mmmmm), garden salad with homemade croutons

WEDNESDAY: grilled polish, baked beans, chips,  fresh fruit and going to bake caramel cashew bars

THURSDAY: creme brulee french toast bake, bacon, fresh fruit

FRIDAY: leftovers

WHAT I AM CREATING AT THE MOMENT

I finished a project recently - a little decorated cookbook scrapbook that I will share soon

NEW RECIPE I WANT TO TRY THIS WEEK:

The creme brulee french toast is a new recipe

TIP OF THE WEEK:

Good tip for my kiddos! They LOVE pizza and are always good about eating up the leftovers ;)

FROM THE CAMERA:

I thought I would share a few more fun bunnies and decorations from around our home. Also threw in a Sunday selfie I had taken for good measure. ;) I have shared these banana split cookies before (basically banana flavored cookies with chocolate chips and cherries) and they are under my recipe tab above. But since I baked some yesterday I thought I would share some pics and the recipe again as they are so yummy!!

  9. Sometimes I don't understand this blog business. I've been checking your blog and always came up with the same thing, so thought you hadn't posted anything new. I decided to click on "Newer Post" this time, and YES, there is a newer post.

Seems that if you start typing in the address and Google guesses what you want, you get the last thing you opened.

Strange things are happening with my new Windows 10. Adjustment time, for sure.

Love the new photo. You look very glamorous.

Wonder if I made banana cupcakes and added chocolate chips and cherries, I'd have Banana Split Cupcakes for my Muffin Tin Monday?
Might give it a try. I could just use my Banana Bread Recipe.

Love to My Girls, AUNT Patsy
