Happy Homemaker Monday

Happiest of Mondays to you Dear Friends! ~

First of all, I just want to start this week off with appreciation. I'm so grateful for each of you that stops by to share my life a bit and say hello. I know I may not always get a chance to respond to your comments, but I do read them and they make me smile and go right to my heart.  ❤️

Next, I want to share that my wi-fi was out a lot last week and giving me a ton of grief. I think it's resolved now, but can still be slow at times. I wasn't able to visit everyone last week due to that. And my special project info to share is on delay because of wi-fi issues too. Stay tuned I guess! Lol So frustrating! 😡 But I will be around to visit this week.

Finally, I hope you had a lovely weekend. It was a fun one here. I went to the Downton Abbey movie with my Mom and SIL on Friday. It was SO good!!! And I wore my pearls (just sayin) Lol Then Saturday I went out with girlfriends to a DIY sign making art class and then out for drinks and lots of catch up after. It was such a fun night! It's been getting cooler here (although some mild temps maybe this week) and I've been enjoying Fall walks with Ruby. And yesterday Ad was over for some dinner and to help pull out the dock and take out the pontoon. True signs of Fall ::sigh:: Summer is fully over and today is actually the first day of Fall! So Happy Autumn to you my Friends 😊 🍁 🎃

PS: my bobcat friend was back this weekend. Here's some pics I caught just this morning!

Sure is pretty, isn't he?

WHAT I AM CREATING AT THE MOMENT

I will be sharing a post later in the week about the projects I was mentioning 😉

NEW RECIPE I WANT TO TRY THIS WEEK:

I will share the BBQ chicken pasta recipe 😋

TIP OF THE WEEK:

I follow a cookie maker on instagram (@morgancookies) and I loved her recent tip that when washing things that need handwashing (like cookie cutters, frosting tips etc) - put them in your salad spinner as a quick easy way to dry them. I think I'm going to try this when I make my Christmas cookies this holiday season!

FROM THE CAMERA

Ruby walks around the bay have been beautiful!

Twilights and sunsets have been pretty too 💜

Ruby got her haircut last week -isn't she a cutie?

I had such fun with my girlfriends and I was proud of my sign! I sanded, distressed, stained, drilled it together, stenciled and painted it all myself 😊

A lot of my flowers have still been hanging in there even though we've had some chilly temps at night. So I haven't put my Fall things outside just yet.

Comfort food I made this weekend: bbq meatballs, au gratin potatoes (had salad too), pasta bake, salted caramel brownies

Annie and I are working to be healthier, too, so we've been working out and I prepped a bunch of veggies all ready to go for lunches and snacks. Life is all about the balance 😉

Taking out the dock and pontoon (& Ruby supervises well)

A few more Fall decorations to share including this adorable fairy set I found that had little pumpkins, leaves, tablecloth and so adorable Starbucks coffee cups and platter of apple cider donuts.  I found it on Etsy. Love the perfect mini details. And I thought what a better table for a Fall Fairy picnic than a pumpkin. 🎃

You just know those fairies are drinking pumpkin spice lattes, right?

PRAYER, INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE OR DEVOTIONAL:

A friend had this on her instagram and I couldn't resist sharing it. Hope it brought you a smile too. Happy Fall Y'All! 🍁 I'm sharing with Sandra of Diary of a SAHM for Happy Homemaker Monday.

Hello and Happy Monday Friends ~

I hope you all had a wonderfully blessed weekend. 🙏

I had a similar one to last weekend. Annie had a friend sleepover. We played games and some volleyball. But I also got more in depth cleaning, scrubbing, and mopping done. And finally got out the rest of my Fall decorations! I didn't get to the outside yet. But inside it's looking cozy and very Autumnal. Beware lots of photos below! Lol I'm also finally sharing the sour cream banana bread recipe below since I didn't get it into an individual post.

Then yesterday Ad came over for dinner to help with some things and hang out a bit. Annie has already been getting heavy duty homework. He gets to help her with the math! Lol 😂
