Taking a Break

Hello Friends ~

I'm sorry I have been a bit MIA again. I've been feeling called to take a break from my social media and blog to give more time to my family. I plan to be back in the future and will peek in at your places in blogland when I'm able to say hi. I pray you're having a wonderful weekend and hope to see you soon. xoxo

Happy Homemaker Monday

Hello Dear Friends ~

Night time edition. Sorry I'm late yet another week with HHM. If I told you I missed last week because it was my birthday last Monday (15th) and I had fun things that went on ALL week; would you forgive me? It was such a great week and then got topped off with going to the Ed Sheeran concert in Minneapolis with Annie and my girlfriend and her daughter. We spent the whole weekend in the Twin Cities. We had the BEST time! Many of you already know how much I adore Mr. Sheeran - and the love has rubbed off on Annie now too. Lol I was blessed to see him last year in Chicago. And he was just as wonderful this time if not better!!

We didn't get home until last night and I've been playing catch up with my life today.  Then busy feeding my family dinner etc. Now I'm finally taking a little time for me to catch up with you. ;) I will be popping around this week to catch up with each of you too, as I missed you last week. xo

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS:

Today it was sunny and in the 50's and pretty nice other than a bit of a chilly wind. Looks like it will pretty chilly most of the week though - only in the 40's and cold rain the end of the week.

ON THE BREAKFAST PLATE THIS MORNING

I guess I'll share what I had for dinner instead which was leftover chili with cheese, sour cream and fritos on top, part of a cornbread muffin with honey butter and some grapes :P

RIGHT NOW I AM:

Listening to whatever tv my family is watching in the background

AS I LOOK OUTSIDE MY WINDOW

It's dark out now but there is the most amazing full moon tonight with a few wispy clouds in front. So many of our trees have lost leaves already so there are bare branches framing it - very Halloween looking....spooky Hold on I'll take a pic and share.

AS I LOOK AROUND THE HOUSE

It looks cozy with lamps shining and my crew snuggled under blankets. Dishes waiting to be loaded from dinner - but still just part of the cozy with a candle glowing on the counter too

ON THIS WEEK'S TO DO LIST:

I have an appointment this week, need to pick up Ruby's allergy pills, groceries, bring FIL dinner, meeting a friend to get some things I ordered but to catch up too, taking my Mom out for lunch for her bday, my hospice volunteer, wallyball with the girls this week, some other errands

FROM THE CAMERA:

This is how it was looking around here just last week. And this is how it's looking now...

Pretty bare with most of the leaves going fast now :(

Getting all ready to head out and see one of our favorite gingers :)
(and please note my daughter is almost my height already - AACCKK!)

We got there early to watch the set up and buy some "merch"

they had awesome huge screens (SWOON)

The new US Bank stadium in minneapolis holds over 66,000 people and it was a full house! I took this pic on panorama mode after he asked us all to turn on our lights on our phones

At the end of the show he did his last few songs in a Minnesota Vikings jersey - pretty cute

I'll try to upload some video of him:

Happy Homemaker Monday

Hello Dear Friends ~

I guess it's a late edition HHM for me this week. So will be quick version.  I ran errands today and I finally got my new iphone! I needed a new one so badly so it's been really fun playing with it and all the new features. ;)

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a really nice one here. It's getting so beautiful with Fall colors so just enjoyed my backyard bay a bit. Also, hubby and I accomplished cleaning around the homestead and ran errands and went out for dinner on saturday while Annie had her hockey captain's practice. And of course lots of football watching on sunday. Now on to the rest of the week

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS:

Today it was rainy, but not too freezing (in the 50's). Going to rain the next couple days too. Then clear up a bit by the end of the week but probably be in the 40's-50's.
