Wednesday Wonder: This Date Each Year

Happy mid week to you. 

Thank you so much for all of the kind comments on my last post for Aaron's bday wishes, and for Annie headed back to college. Big days for both of my kiddos and I'm so proud of them. :) 

You also sweetly commented about some of the food I shared and I will share some recipes tomorrow!

But today I thought I'd share a few pics on this date over the past 5 years. I find it such a neat thing about smart phones... that it's so easy to look back at a glance over the past years and all the photos are labeled by dates.

You can tell some things never change for me - loving the bay, flowers, kiddos, and Ruby and Bubba. Lol

Wednesday Wonder: Halloween Memories and Moments

 

Hello Friends!

Happy Halloween Eve! 🎃🍁

It's so different now that the kiddos are grown and moved on into their lives. I treasure the memories of costume planning and making fun spooky treats. Carving pumpkins, toasting seeds, and hosting friends with hot cider on the stove. It was never about the dark or spooky. Just the joy of childhood and fun with friends and family celebrating a fun Fall tradition. 

But now it's a time for new beginnings and traditions. Last year we went to Mr. C's Aunt house. She throws a party every year. So we're doing that again this year. Going with the C's to their relatives home to enjoy some chili and sides and everyone brings other dishes and treats. It will be cozy (we have snow in the forecast tomorrow!!) and lots of laughs and fun. 

But for today I thought I'd go down memory lane a little and then share some fun pinterest images. Whatever you get up to tomorrow I pray everyone remains safe and healthy and has the best time!
