Scraptastic Saturday: Valentine Bunting
Another little valentine DIY craft project I completed recently was this valentine bunting or banner.
I took some cute tags I had in shades of red and pink and embellished them to create another fun decoration for this "love" month of February.
I took a square puncher I have and punched out the red squares from card stock. I then took some fun letter stickers I have to spell out L-O-V-E. I finished with a few more of the sparkly flowers I have and glued them on. I tied the tags to red ribbon that I have - and there it is: a nice easy fast valentine decoration.
Not sure if it will stay here - but for now I put it up on a shelf in my little office/craft room. Sending "love" thoughts out to you all! Happy Weekend!

Ooh, it's lovely! I'm going to make a heart one for my daughter's bedroom today, from felt. [I might, actually, post about it!]
ReplyDeleteI hope you do share if you make one!! Such a simple little thing but I find little banners or bunting like this so adorable (& so fun and easy to make).
DeleteThis is really cute, and easy to make!! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! xx
ReplyDeleteExactly! Quick and easy, yet adds an adorable touch. And it's especially nice when I already have so many of these kinds of items. ;)
DeleteHow cute! Valentine's day is my parents' wedding anniversary - 49 years this year - can you imagine!!
ReplyDeleteOh Alison - that's wonderful!! Congratulations to them. That is an absolutely beautiful thing. I pray that someday I could say the same thing - married for 49 years. You'll have to ask them what the secret is and then share. ;)
DeleteSo pretty Carrie! A great idea and a lovely way to send some love too! xx
