Happy Homemaker Monday

Hello and Happy Monday Friends!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It felt like it flew by! Do your weekends do that too?

Matt & I had fun going to a local college hockey game Friday night with my son and daughter. Then Saturday Annie had an away hockey game in the city where Matt used to live. So we took the road trip to go watch her and for him to check up on his old stomping ground. He checked on rentals he owns there. And also tried to surprise & catch up with an old friend....but he was out of town. We went shopping at a favorite place of mine in that area - perfect for holiday shopping!! And they also have amazing food and are known for their coffee bar. I had their special of the day, which was a cherry chai latte and I think it was my favorite hot drink I've ever had! Yesterday after church we ran errands and then watched the Packers actually win a game. Lol So it was a wonderful weekend overall. 😊

I didn't get around to visit everyone last week - but I hope to make all of the rounds this week!! ❤️

PRAYER LIST:

For an end to the conflict in the Ukraine and other areas of the world living in war & fear. For peace and unity in this country, especially from hate and anymore shootings!  For anyone sick, suffering, in pain or fear... that God bring them comfort and peace.  For my back injury to heal faster. Lol For my step Dad having heart surgery soon. 🙏

PRAYER, INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE OR DEVOTIONAL:

Have a wonderful week ahead. I'm sharing this with Sandra of Diary of a SAHM for Happy Homemaker Monday.

Sounds like you had a perfect weekend, but bummer on Annies team having so much sickness. There's a lot around here right now too.

  4. Some lovely glimpses of your Christmas preparation dear Carrie. Your weekend sounds great, and I do like the sound of your cherry chai latte. It would be perfect in your Hallmark mug. Loving your little white village with the adorable Nativity scene: the perfect meaning of Christmas. When it comes to the Tree, your styling is amazing. Well done dear friend. xoxox

  5. That tea set! It's so gorgeous as are all your Christmas decorations. Lots of sickness in this area as well. Hope your kids are well-recovered and no one else gets sick. Prayers your back heals quickly and for your step dad's heart surgery to go well. Have a wonderful week!

  6. Sounds like you had an interesting and fun weekend. So sad to hear so many are sick on her team, it sure has been going around this year, I just keep waiting that it will be me soon. I am working on my Christmas cards too, a long process with so many different cards to go through. I almost have my daughters package ready to mail :)

I hope you've been having a blessed week so far. Sorry Annie's game was canceled, it seems there's so much sickness going around at the moment.
