Happy Monday Friends!
I missed you last week!! We were gone to sunny and beautiful Arizona during Annie's Spring break. It was such a welcome break from the gloomy weather here in the northwoods. And it was especially wonderful getting time with my Dad and step Mom. We stayed at their condo and got in lots of pool time, visits, games, a little bit of golf, awesome food and even a side trip to Sedona! My Dad booked a beautiful air b&b there and we stayed one night.
They have a new puppy - Dusty doodle and he's so cute and has the neatest little personality. It was so nice to get to be with my Dad for Easter. Back at Christmas they were up here in the northwoods, but due to Annie's covid at the time, we didn't get to spend time with them. We celebrated Easter at their church and it was a beautiful early outdoor mass, so it wasn't too hot. Then a brunch at my step Mom's sister's home, which is gorgeous! Get ready for a bit of a photo overload below. Lol 🙈
ON THE BREAKFAST PLATE THIS MORNING:
grapefruit, coffee
ON MY TO DO LIST:
groceries, errands, hair appt, lunch with a gf, hospice work, home projects, chiropractor appts
*I have a scoliosis of the spine - basically a curvature I've had my whole life. My Dad has it too. But through the years of playing sports and degeneration and arthritis it's gotten worse. So I'm going through aggressive treatment with a chiropractor 3x a week for 3 months! Then we will re-scan and see about what I'll need further at that point. I may even need to do a kind of traction in the future to help it too. Here's a photo of one of my scans to give you an idea of how bad the curvature is. ugh! I guess I'm grateful that I don't have a lot of pain, or walk weird and I still play sports - so overall I'm lucky it hasn't really hindered me up to this point.
AS I LOOK AROUND THE HOUSE
It's always nice to be home...but I sure miss the AZ sunshine! Having my coffee each morning amongst the sunbeams and bird song was SO wonderful. But nice to have my Ruby here snuggling by me. Listening to praise and worship music and just thinking how lucky I am to have had that trip to feed the soul. And get such fun time with family - even bonding more with my Annie boo. 💕

Sorry in advance for all the pics 😋
After Easter mass convertible ride with my PapaBear
This is the pool at my Dad & Mary's gated condo community and it was wonderful and we spent our share of time here!! 🌴 🌊
It was such a special trip. It was hard to leave! But it's nice knowing my Dad & Mary move back up north for the summer soon. ❤️
PS: Did I mention my sweet Matt is on a family trip in Hawaii?? He wanted me to go there too - but I couldn't make it happen with the trip to AZ already. It looks like paradise!
PRAYER LIST:
Prayers of gratitude and thankfulness for so many blessings. For special health intentions. For Ukraine, Russia, and the surrounding countries taking refugees. For the Lord's light, love, and peace to spread in our world and cast out the dark and bring peace.
