Happy Earth Day! 💚💙
It's been a minute. I was a busy lady on a Spring break trip with my Annie to Arizona. We have gone for many years in a row now for her Spring breaks. My Dad and step Mom winter away there every year. So it always works out great because we stay with them and get wonderful family time, as well as sun and fun and relaxation time. It's always wonderful to get precious time with my sweet Girlie too...extra precious because she graduates soon. 💗💗💗
I've been working to get back to normal life this week. I jumped right back into hospice work when we got home late last week. Then this past weekend Matt and I ran to 10 mile to check on the lake property and haul some things up there. It will be getting opened soon and makes me so excited for summer! Back at home, I weeded all around my lilies popping up and I see the little wild bunch of daffodils I have in the yard are almost ready to bloom. Yay!
Anyway, this is a warning that there are a ton of photos ahead!! 🙈

errrands, some minor groceries, Ruby haircut, helping my Mom with some projects and visiting them, meeting at school for Annie's senior party, go pick up her dress that was hemmed for prom, work on her grads, wedding stuff work, home projects
THINKING ABOUT:
busy busy days ahead... Annie's graduation, a big cruise trip, the wedding - it's a big year 😊💗

Sun is shining in currently. Ruby is sleeping in the chair by me. The bay is so low and we really need rain badly! But it still looks pretty sparkling in the sun and the grass so green now. 🌷💚
CURRENTLY READING
I have started the book The Collected Regret of Clover by Mikki Brammer. I actually put that book on hold, but will go back to it soon! When we left for the AZ trip I wanted to take my kindle instead because it's nice and small. The Clover book is a big hardback book. So currently finishing Lean on Me by Beth Moran

MONDAY - roasted salmon with basil butter, salad
TUESDAY - cheese & asparagus stuffed chicken breast, roasted veggies
WEDNESDAY - 5 cheese tortellini with truffle oil (marinara for Annie), garlic toast, salad
THURSDAY - tacos
FRIDAY - out for dinner

We took a side trip to my Uncle & Aunt's place in Sun City West. They have a house there in an amazing 55+ community. They have everything there you could possible want - churches, grocery stores, shops, 4 rec centers, 7 golf courses, 17 pickle ball courts, mini golf courses, 3 swimming pools including a lazy river, bocce, bowling alley, billiards tables etc and over 100 different fun clubs/hobby groups. I was in a car with my Dad and Uncle when they showed us around. You can see Annie up ahead in a golf cart with my Aunt. You can drive your golf cart everywhere there. You almost don't need a car! Lol Matt & I are looking at properties there for one day in our future. You can buy property and rent it out, until we're of an age we can live there. 😉
One morning at my Dad's I had my coffee in a mug with my kiddos as wee ones on it. 💕
My Dad & step Mom live in a condo complex that has this lovely pool and Annie and I soaked up lots of time there.
My future in-laws live in the same city as my Dad. Annie & I went out shopping and to lunch with Matt's Mom one afternoon. My Dad let Annie & I use his electric car for a few of our own excursions which was a lot of fun.
did I mention they have the best Mexican restaurants out there and that fried ice cream is so yummy (& best shared) ;)

Meanwhile, my Honey was back at home holding down the fort and getting abundant love from these furry babies. He said they were sure missing their Mom! Lol
We went to a beautiful arboretum my Dad & step Mom belong to - and so many things were in bloom. It was gorgeous as you can see below:
We also visited this beautiful church that had a gorgeous ascension of mother Mary statue/mural
And we visited this lovely olive grove/mill that had an amazing store of products and pizza oven, bakery and other treats. Very fun place!
Then we took a road trip this past weekend to the 10 mile lake property. We haven't opened it yet (turned on the water etc) for the season. But we hauled some things up there and checked on the water level etc. Then we grabbed some yummy lunch in town and took it to have a picnic in the park because we brought Ruby with us on the trip.
Then finally, back at home to do some work weeding lilies and getting things ready to plant for the Spring! 💚 Daffodils are just about to bloom open. Can't wait to enjoy their yellow sunshines.
