Happy Homemaker Monday

Happy Monday Friends!

Can you believe we're in August now? Where I live that's really pre-Fall, as well as summer. So I'm going to soak up all the pontoon time, golf, swimming and flower love I'm able to get. And yet, I'm also excited for pre-season football beginning and that it's cooler at night... and just knowing my favorite season of all is just around the corner. 🌻

How's life where you are today? I hope you have a wonderful week planned ahead. 😊

First of all, thank you for all the kind wishes and prayers of support for my procedure last week. The prep was awful but the procedure went fine.

Did you have a nice weekend? It felt like it was a really fast one here. Friday we went out to dinner with the couple we spend lots of time with these days - I'll call them "the C's". After dinner the C's came and hung out with us at my house to play cards. We all have such a great time together!  Saturday we took a quick trip to Matt's cabin and spent time with his parents and I was able to meet more of his relatives & family friends that were visiting.  I felt honored to be part of a moment celebrating memories of his Granny that passed away earlier this year. And we had fun on the pontoon, swimming, eating great food and lots of laughs. Ruby loved it all too! On Saturday night Matt and I just laid on the dock looking up at the stars and waited for our eyes to adjust. There was a nice breeze, no bugs and the sound of the waves hitting the shore. We saw constellations, satellites and some shooting stars. It was such a magical night. 🌟 Then yesterday, on his Aunt's recommendation,   we all watched the musical Come From Away on Apple tv - based on real events. It was so good and I highly recommend it!

Then all too soon we were back home and now it's back to real life for the week....

  1. Love all the boat pics! Can I ask, what prep you had to use for the colon? I schedule for a gastro office and am always curious as to what others offer to patients. (the two we offer is the nulytely and sutab). Have an awesome week!!

  6. Hello! I'm still new to your blog and am wondering, with Northwoods being in your blog title and your mention of "Where I live that's really pre-Fall, as well as summer,".......are you from Wisconsin? I am! =) And I'm also excited for football!
