HAPPY HOMEMAKER MONDAY
Hello beautiful Friends! Did you have a nice cozy weekend?
It was a fun one here! Mr. Matt came up to hang out with me. ♥️ We had fun going to some restaurants and eating some amazing food! He's a foodie like I am, and also enjoys cooking. Then visited some fun shops (including a cooking/food store) and an antique store. I showed him all around the area here. He came to my house and picked me up each day like a true gentleman. Even got my car door for me. Definitely not used to such treatment! And he thought of Annie and had us bring her a dessert home one night.
We had some wonderful long talks and he is the biggest sweetheart. I shared a bit about the broken parts in me...it's definitely still a process. But he is patient and understanding and we're just enjoying each other day to day. I can't wait until our next get together!!
So I'm diving in fully into my LIVE word for the year. I'm back to working out more. Been doing more spiritually - diving into the Word and journaling. Working on etsy projects. And this week I'm going to work on tackling my bedroom closet and dressers and purge and organize.
I look forward to all the living ahead....

TIPS OR SOMETHING TO SHARE:
FROM THE CAMERA:
Keeping cozy with comfort food on the really cold days (slow cooker pot roast)
It was so fun finding some treasures at the antique store. Matt obviously had fun being a goofball. 😊 But I think he enjoyed that I shared some of my knowledge from all the years of going to them and the different collections I've learned about through the years. I grabbed this old German calendar top that's embossed and so pretty. I loved the northwoods look to it and the pretty church. I'm going to frame it and use it as a decoration to put out next Christmas. I also grabbed an old edition of Longfellow poems, and some old postcards to use in crafting. Some still had the writing on the back! So fun to imagine the story behind them.
Matt got me this yummy tea at the kitchen store and it's SO good! I love how adding a splash of milk made the color so pretty.
feeling very blessed for this great guy in my life ♥️
PRAYER LIST:
Prayers for gratitude and thankfulness for so many blessings. I pray for an end to the virus. For peace and unity everywhere. For health care workers, first responders and all those who work so hard to take care of others. I pray for anyone isolated, feeling alone, in pain or fear - that God comfort them and bring them healing and peace.
