Hello there!
Happy TGIF. 😊 I meant to post something yesterday and the day got away from me. The time is going so fast and with Thanksgiving rapidly approaching I thought some unique leftover ideas might be fun. I love making the epic turkey sandwiches with the works on them. And I use the turkey carcass and make stock and turkey noodle soup. I think those are fairly common.
But what about something different? I was looking at the Relish insert in my local newspaper - it has cool recipe ideas. And it had this one for making a thanksgiving ring that would be a more unique version of a sandwich:
Continuing with the "time sure flies" theme, I thought it might be fun to share a gift idea too. Christmas is practically around the corner and frankly I have no idea how that happened. Lol
If you have anyone in your life that likes to entertain - they might love these neat charcuterie idea cards. I follow a gal on instagram that specializes in charcuterie entertaining and she created this box set of cards. They are so neat because they include the shopping list on the back...so you could just take the card with you to the grocery store. And they give tips and instructions for how to make certain things. And there isn't just meat and cheese kinds of boards. There are breakfast boards, snack ones, holidays, meal ideas etc. I'll let some of them speak for themselves here:
This is what the front of the box looks like and Meg Quinn is the creator. You can find her on instagram too under @Ainttooproudtomeg
I hope you have a wonderful weekend Friends. xo

Thank you for all of this! I love all these ideas. Hugs, my friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs back Billie Jo! xo
DeleteOh my word - those are stinkin' cute! I love the patriotic one.
ReplyDeleteThat Thanksgiving ring is a great idea too.
Thanks Mari! Aren't the cards cool? And there is a bunch more with all kinds of neat ideas.
DeleteWhat a fun gift idea! The Thanksgiving ring reminds me of those Pampered Chef taco rings that were really popular a few (probably more than a few, lol) years back. Would be a fun after the holiday get together meal, I think. Hope you are having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jean! I thought the cards were so fun for anyone that loves to entertain like that. And the ring exactly reminded me of the Pampered Chef's ones too! Lol
DeleteLove your Thanksgiving ring - hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving 2021. Oh those cards are so great! I am not good at doing boards, and have been known to go shopping with photos in my phone I have saved from IG. These instructions would be so helpful. Have a great week Carrie. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Trish! I need the help and guidance for things like this too. Lol I hope you have a wonderfully warm and blessed holiday season all the way through. xo
DeleteThe Thanksgiving ring looks really good. I do love the charcuterie boards! so much fun
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucie! Love when you visit and sharing with you.
