Hello dear Friends 🌸
Do you have your Easter countdown on? Mine is a-ticking away over here. I've been tweaking my menu, and making my grocery and to-do lists and getting all set.
Even though it's gray out today. And the forecast is calling for potentially 7 or 8 inches of snow by Friday (nope that's not an April fool...but our real forecast). Easter Sunday has a glorious forecast of sun and mid 40's. I will take that all day! ☀️🐰
Since I have Easter on my mind, and I was looking at some of my pinterest boards for inspiration...I thought I would share some of my finds with you too. In case you were wanting some added inspiration for the weekend ahead as well. But first, here's a look at my sleepy babies today. It is kind of a gray and good for a nap kind of day. Can you see why I like to keep the recliner covered with a blanket? Less fur stuck in there. Lol
inexpensive hack to get free paint samples and cut out in egg shape for a cute garland
rustic but cute and inexpensive too
love the idea of filling an old small trunk or case like this
i love how this wreath is simple, yet stunning
Now that we have things looking pretty, how's about we get it smelling pretty too. Love the idea of a Spring simmer pot.
Now maybe it's time to create some fun appetizers to share with guests?
how cute are these peep and chick cookie cutters? (you could cut cheese and salami in these shapes too)
and I love the idea of decorating a crudite platter with a chocolate bunny or bunny decoration
Or have a Spring tea party and do the crudite in little teacups
And I think Springtime just sings for light pastas and salads as main dishes, don't you?

Oh my word - you have all sorts of Spring goodness and cuteness here. Lemon poppyseed chicken salad sounds so good, so does lemon blueberry rolls! The Peeps pretzel rods are the cutest! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDear Carrie, what a gorgeous post. I love all your Easter food ideas. The bunny in the teacup with the crudites is my favourite. Can't believe you are having 8 inches of snow - it will be pretty, but still cold like the middle of Winter. Have a beautiful Easter my friend. Blessings xoxox
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine the thought of getting 7 or 8 inches of snow....honestly, I could barely imagine getting 1 or 2 right now! In spite of that, you are embracing spring with all these lovely things! I love the idea of using the cookie cutters to cut out fruit and other things. Stay warm and enjoy your Easter weekend with your family!
ReplyDeleteDear Carrie...Each of these are such an inspiration. Love, Love the garland idea. who would have ever thought? I just want to save this entire post. Several things I think would be great for my granddaughters wedding shower. By the way, I followed your Pinterest page. Lots of goodness right there. Thank you so much...I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteOh, love this post! I want to make everything! Love the charcuterie with the bunny and the teacup. And the decorated strawberries are so cute. Everything is sweet. Especially the kitty and Ruby sleeping together on the chair :) Sorry you are still getting snow. We are getting flurries here and there, but it's supposed to actually warm up to the mid-60's on Easter. Although I'll believe it when I see it!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely and very blessed Easter with your family, Carrie. Hugs x K
I heard you all were getting more snow, that is such a bummer, but hopefully it will melt soon and that will be the end of it.
ReplyDeleteI love all the decorating ideas, those bunny eggs are too cute. The butterfly cupcakes and the strawberry tea cups are very cute too!
Happy Easter!
