Happy Homemaker Monday

Hello Friends,

Another Monday here again so quickly. ;) Sorry I've been absent again. My Aunt needed more help, and since my daughter was off school for conferences the end of last week, we took a little road trip to visit and help her out with some more painting.  We had such good girlie time.  Besides work we also ate good food, did lots of visiting, and played lots of games. Always fun! Then over the weekend it was my birthday - so I was busy with some family time for that. We did some running around for kiddo sports too - but in between I was spoiled with back rubs, cards and goodies and my favorite takeout for dinner.  I also received several cards, calls and messages on FB and texts. I feel so loved and blessed...and so grateful for it. Hubby and I watched football and unfortunately my Packers lost and my beloved Aaron Rodgers was majorly injured and may be out for the season. Not a nice bday gift!! Lol

Anyway, it's going to be a pretty busy week ahead as I have some more fun birthday dates for lunches out with friends, as well as lots of the usual busy goings on. So I will try to get a few more posts in...but truly life will finally slow down around here more by next week. I look forward to catching up with you too Friends. I've been missing visits and look forward to seeing what you're up to these days.  For now let's move on to the week ahead...

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS:

It's sunny and 60's. It's supposed to be in the 60's and pleasant all week! Unusual for my northwoods this time of year, but I'll take it. ;)

Toast with lemon curd and coffee with coconut creamer

RIGHT NOW I AM:

AS I LOOK OUTSIDE MY WINDOW:

I see beautiful sun shining on the golden trees on our back hill. It's about peak color in our backyard over the bay. So pretty

AS I LOOK AROUND THE HOUSE:

Pretty tidy and the sun is pouring in through the windows and making my living room look golden.

Get our book: http://amzn.to/1TIbu7l

This just cracks me up

FROM THE CAMERA:
Annie was a card shark on our visit to our Aunt (my Auntie her great Auntie)

The landscapers have been getting more done - putting down the path to the new lower deck, filling in the rock, putting down sod etc. No shrubs yet. And next Spring we'll have railing on the lower deck. Imagine flowers, shrubs, furniture and for the lower stairs (not in these photos) we'll have posts with lights going down the stairs to the dock. We'll also have shrubs along the new sidewalk in back and all around the address sign.

I was blessed with the most beautiful day for my birthday yesterday and Ruby and I enjoyed a long walk along the bay. God sure does some pretty work in the Fall.
