Happy Homemaker Monday

Happy Monday! ๐Ÿ‚ ๐Ÿงก

I hope you had a wonderful weekend Friends. And that you're jumping into this new week with a smile on your face and a Spring in your step.

I had a busy end to the week last week...but I plan to get in my WW post and a cooking Thursday one this week too. We left Friday for a trip to Green Bay to visit family (Matt got to meet more new relatives and vice versa). It was a blast! They loved Matt and it already feels like he's one of the family. Annie and her bff also came with us. We went to a Green Bay Gamblers hockey game, and that was extra fun because they won in OT! It was an awesome and exciting game - which was perfect for Matt's first hockey game ever! Lol It was so cute watching Annie explain things to him during the game. ๐Ÿ’•

We also got in some shopping, wonderful food, and hang out time with my Aunts and some of my cousins. We spent Sunday at my cousin's & wife's house having pizzas and goodies and watching the Pack. They lost spectacularly again, and I'll have no further high expectations this year (sigh) but it was still a lot of fun!

Now on to a bright beautiful late Autumn week ahead.....

TIPS OR SOMETHING TO SHARE:

I had to share this  video my video doorbell caught last week! A woodpecker actually rang the doorbell and then pecked away at my camera - it's hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚  But I'm so grateful he didn't break my camera

FROM THE CAMERA:

Pics with Ace - the GB Gamblers mascot (I am vertically challenged - that is all. Lol)

We visited a fave boutique store that had all kinds of different seasonal trees. It's also a restaurant and we had fabulous brunch there with family. (I had a crab, bacon, cheddar & green onion quiche with a brownie batter specialty coffee - it was amazing!)

PRAYER LIST:

For an end to the conflict in the Ukraine and other areas of the world living in war & fear. For special intentions. For gratitude for abundant blessings.

For overall peace and healing in our world. ๐Ÿ™

PRAYER, INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE OR DEVOTIONAL:

Have a wonderful week!! I'm sharing this with Sandra of Diary of a SAHM forHappy Homemaker Monday.

  4. What a funny woodpecker, ringing the doorbell. I think he has tried this before! Looks like you had a great weekend at the Green Bay, and I love that tree at the boutique. Not sure if it is a Fall tree or a Christmas tree but it is so pretty! Have a great week dear Carrie. xoxox

    1. Thanks Trish! It was a wonderful weekend. That tree at the boutique was an Autumn one. Plus they had ones decorated for Christmas, for a cabin, trees with kitchen themes etc. It's the neatest store. And I promise I didn't train that woodpecker. He was that smart all on his own ๐Ÿ˜†

  5. I've been to one hockey game in my life, a minor league game many years ago when we visited my sister in Iowa. It was fun but I know nothing about hockey so didn't understand anything that was happening. lol

Time for you to get caught up on House of the Dragon! I've been holding back a bit with spoilers on my blog but I'm going to have to go ahead and let all the thoughts out soon! LOL
