Quick Holiday Update

Hello my Dear Friends!

I hope you're enjoying a beautiful holiday season so far.  I've been having some very busy days - as I know we all do this time of year.  But between caregiving (and some appointments for my MIL), volunteering at my daughter's school, different Christmas concerts and many things I'm even forgetting...I have had to lapse in my blogging world.  I just wanted to pop in quick and let you know I'm still around though! I'm off to another concert my daughter sings in soon, but I'm hoping for more time this weekend to go around blogland visiting and see what you've all been up to and say hi.  Here's some photos from Annie's concert the other day and a few more shots of Christmas around my northwoods home:

My pretty Girl all dressed up for the show!

Did you catch those Christmas Angels by my tree?

Christmas concert day - Nana (my Mom) hanging out with us too.

Vintage Christmas angels flying among my teacups.

Northwoods Santa on the hearth checking if we've been naughty or nice.

My piano decked out with northwoods critters and Santa snow globe. Lots of Christmas carols have been getting played on here this season.

I know I missed a recipe Thursday and didn't get to my Five on Friday this past week - but next week I should be right back in the swing of things. I have some fun recipes and crafts to share too! So check back with me next week. I'll be starting with Happy Homemaker Monday this Monday. Blessings to All and I will come by to visit soon!

    1. Thanks Judy! I only "play around" on the piano, but my Annie actually takes lessons. It's truly a pride and joy of mine and I only have it as I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time at an estate sale. Feel so blessed to have it. ;)

  2. I like the outfit complete with shoe boots. I love blue dresses. I like Santa's furry coat.
It has been 76 for two days down here. I am glad Winter isn't here yet with all the packing and moving I need to do.
My sister drove up from Charlotte, NC and we went to Colonial Williamsburg to look at the fruity wreaths.

    1. Thanks Trish!! I have such fun decorating for the holidays. ;)

I'm so blessed to have my baby grand and she's a pride and joy. Lol I'd been wanting a piano for years and wanted my daughter to have lessons. A friend told me about a house his parents were buying and that they were having an estate sale there. No one wanted to have to move the piano - so I got it for a song (pun intended - ha!) I feel so blessed and like it was meant to be - to have such a wonderful instrument we've been building family memories around.
Blessings to you dear Friend. xoxo

Love your decorations! The first picture of the piano really baffled me until I realized there was a mirror behind it LOL.
