SPRING HICCUP
slushy snow on the firepit
Yep, it was one of these kinds of days in our northwoods. Spring took a break and in came freezing rain/sleet/snow. Yuck! One perk: the kids have loved having a free day as they canceled school. So that could only mean one thing - TREAT BREAKFAST of waffles and cherry topping! Yippeee!

Oh man - I hate when that happens! Hopefully that's the end of the white stuff. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Mother Nature has flipped out. Maybe it's just PMS.
ReplyDeleteYour Winter really is hanging on there, Carrie. The kids must like a snow holiday: I know my grandchildren in Ottawa sometimes get them too. Of course, that is unheard of here, but recently when we had the cyclone school was cancelled throughout the city, something I have never known to happen before. Love your cherry topping!
ReplyDeleteYUM! I would love some of those waffles. I always loved snow days, even in May :)
ReplyDeleteOh NO, at least you got a tasty treat to soften the blow of the snow.
ReplyDeleteWhen I die I want to come back as one of your kids. Bestest Mom ever!
