Wednesday Wonder
NO SNOW ON OUR SNOW DAY
Well last night they were predicting a big snowstorm to head our way. They actually closed all the schools in our area LAST NIGHT! However, as you can see we just got rain. Our big Lake Superior often buffers us by keeping us more temperate. However, out in the country and other places only 15 to 20 minutes away from us have been getting all the snow they predicted! Some places maybe 6 inches to a foot of snow! Pretty crazy, huh?
So as my kiddos play around our home, or the neighborhood, with their friends - I decided to spread out scrapbooking on the dining room table and give myself a craft day! Woo hoo! Happy Wednesday!! ;)
I guess you're thankful that the storm missed you! We had a real honest to goodness THUNDERSTORM today! Weird hearing the first thunder of the season. I hope you got lots of crafting done :)

That does seem early to be getting thunderstorms already! I'm so thankful we didn't get all the snow those around us did!! I don't think my heart could have taken it. Lol xoxo
DeleteIt is amazing how fickle the weather can be isn't it! Glad that you got to make the best of the day. Hope that the children and you enjoyed the craft day! xx
ReplyDeleteIt turned out to be one of those perfect productive cozy days. Love when that works out! :) xoxo
DeleteThat's what's called making lemonade out of lemons :).
ReplyDeleteYou said it Sister! xoxo
DeleteGlad you didn't get the worst of it and found some fun time to yourself! xo K
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen - it turned out to be a perfect fun day. ;) xo
DeleteWe had major thunderstorms and lots of wind. Sounds like you had a good day!
ReplyDeleteGreat day! Seems like there's sure whacky weather often these days. xo
DeleteYAY! A play day! We used to get hammered with lake effect snow where we were - never ceased to surprise me how a day could start out mild and then I'd get bust doing something and next thing you know there's a foot of snow on the ground wit swirling winds and more to come. So glad your day was an opposite day!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed we didn't get it and folks so close to us got the lake effect stuff. But we're SO close to the lake it tends to buffer us - which is a wonderful thing! ;) xo
DeleteLove the Spring Decor!!! I like the new bedspread, but since I am such a blue nut, I would have a blue dust ruffle. Tres joile! Thank goodness for Great Lakes temperate shores!
ReplyDeleteI like your button egg in the hoop!
OXOX Margot
Thanks so much Margot!! Annie loves blue too - I'm more the pink girl. Lol ;)
DeleteYes - amen for temperate days that keep us from a foot of snow!
xoxo
