Wednesday Wonder
Last Night & This Morning
Last night after it had been gray and rainy on & off most of the day - the glorious sun came out. I love when that happens. The bay was as still and reflective as a mirror. Birds were singing their late day songs. Calm peaceful prayerful ME time.
Then this morning I picked up my Mother-in-law and we were admiring her lovely tulips finally coming out to say hello. Love their cheerful little faces, just starting to open. Spring = fresh beginnings. xo
Beautiful tulips! It looks as though spring has well and truly sprung in your part of the northwoods! xx
ReplyDeleteI think it finally really has Amy! Although we're now in much need of rain, especially with our mild winter leaving us with less snow. It's so wonderful to see some green and growing things finally!! Yay! xo
DeleteLove the beautiful reflection in your first photo! It is so nice to enjoy the lovely spring weather now!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bethany! I'm so ready to do lots of soaking up of this lovely weather too! xo
DeleteEverything looks so pretty! I love that reflection in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mari! Can't wait until there's some leaves on those trees reflected in the water - but soon!!! xo
DeleteToday was the very first day I was able to comfortably work outside. Finally! Your lake looks lovely Carrie, and I'm sure Spring is most welcome to you after the long, marsh winter.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you today. Ever hear of Project Life? It's an alternative to scrap booking for busy and/or non crafty people. I may get their products as one of my goals this year is to organize a lifetime of photos! Yikes!! lol

I'm definitely welcoming Spring with open arms and it feels wonderful!!
DeleteI have heard of project life and actually creative memories (I LOVE the quality of their albums and pages) has a similar way to scrapbook too.I think they're a great idea!! You still put together a beautiful album - and can still through in your own creativity - but it's kind of shortcut so they come together faster. I say go for it!! xo
That should be 'harsh' winter. :/
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the best feeling to see all the lovely signs of Spring! I'll take that over snow and cold any day ;-) Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
It sure is Jill!! That first true warmth feels like a hug straight from above. So ready to enjoy lots of fresh air and sunshine!!
DeleteHappy almost weekend to you! ;) xo
Oh that reflection is beautiful! And lovely to see all those green shoots! I'm going to get out in the garden this morning, in between the showers - the weeds are starting to pop up :-) xx
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite things Alison - when the water gets so calm like a mirror and reflects the trees. In the Fall it's absolutely breath taking. xo
