Happy Friday!!
My daughter Annie is helping me share my 5 things today. As many of you know I've been catching up on my scrapbooking. Well I was going through my daughter's school years album the other day and came across this page from her 2nd grade school year.

And you can see that for this page I had an embellishment that allowed her to write her top 5 things she loves about school. So here they are:

Also a given for my very active Gal! And who doesn't love the playground?
So proud of this - my Girl loves math & science!!

How wonderful to be able to look back and have a record of such wonderful things that otherwise would have been forgotten. That is the beauty of a scrapbook.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree! And I'm so sentimental that one day I'll probably be blubbering over this very page. The older I get - the more fleeting it feels and that's why I treasure my albums like this so much.

It's the nature of the hobby Billie Jo! Don't sweat it - I'm ALWAYS behind!! Lol That's just how scrapbooking works. Just take the time when you can - because any treasured memory kept is priceless. ;)

Your daughter must be the same age as my son....I didn't know this! (He's about to be 9 and is also about to finish 3rd grade)....what a lovely LO and what a great way to capture these memories! Beautiful! [Have been terribly busy so have had *no* time to blog or catch up.....ggrrr...you know I dislike that word 'busy'!!!]
