Five on Friday:The Floral Life

Happy Friday! Hope you have fun plans for the weekend. It felt like this week went so fast and that the summer is flying by already! I just need to stop and "smell the roses" a bit more. And speaking of flowers...

I was looking around here the other day and realized how much flowers play a role in my life and how happy they truly make me. Do you find that flowers make you feel good too? For my five on Friday I thought I would share the areas where flowers bring colorful joy into my life.

ONE



My bakeware, mixer, and other items in my kitchen.




TWO



As objects to decorate around my home.



THREE


In most of the linens and rugs in my home.



FOUR


And even in a lot of the jewelry and clothing I wear! Including my fitibit (shown above).



FIVE








And of course in the fresh flowers (even wildflowers) inside and outside all around my home. Hope flowers are bringing you some joy today!

    Ok, I love flowers too and you have such beautiful ones around you and on you. I'm so jealous. That bathroom window is GORGEOUS!!! And the dishes from Temp-tations???? *drool*

      Aw - thanks Sandra! I know you're a temptations Gal too. I remember seeing many of your lovely pieces.
      The bathroom window is my pride & Joy. It was my touch I added after we moved in & my hubby humored me. ;)

    I think flowers are beautiful and I love seeing them, but I have scent allergies so don't usually welcome flowers in our home. I don't have a green thumb, so there are no blooms outside either. Yours are all lovely!!

      Allergies are such a pain aren't they? I have them as well, although I'm still able to live among many of the flowers. Some get to me though. I'm happy to share mine with you this way Terri. ;)

    I too have flowers every where, and flower things. I am making headway on the wallpaper stripping and painting in my kitchen. Such an exciting weekend.

    I took a double take at that bathroom window Carrie! Wow! It's beautiful!

    I'm not 100% sure, but I think I might have that same rug. Is your's green with a brownish floral design? I bought mine online and I think it might have been from rugs.com or rugsusa or something like that.

    As for that Fitbit, I had one for about two weeks then finally returned it. I could never figure it out! lol

      Thx Doreen! I love that window too! It was a special touch I added when we moved here. I have a think for stained glass.
      I think my rug was from Kohls & it's tan with burgundy kinds of flowers & brown branches with some little blue flowers.
      I love my fitbit! If you look online there's directions you can find that might explain it better for you. If you ever have questions you can email me & I'll help all I can. ;)
