Wednesday Wonder

COZY FALL PREVIEW

Today is actually a pretty beautiful summer day. Temps right around 70. Barely a breeze - just calm and pleasant. However, we've definitely been having our share of Fall preview weather! Some nights have been down in the low 50's high 40's and several days have been windy, cool and brisk.

Here's a photo of my Dad and step Mom from at my daughter's soccer game 2 nights ago. Gives you a good idea of how the wind was feeling that night! Geese were honking and flying over too. Definite Autumn starting to show her face a bit.

Those that follow me on instagram saw this photo later that night. I went home from that game and warmed up with my new autumn wreath candle, and my mug of nice hot orange & spice tea (a favorite!). If you'd like to follow me on instagram you can find me at carriebgroup.  I've been loving it and I have fun posting photos of daily life in my north woods.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying all of the final summer moments I'm able too - but I'm also embracing these Fall previews...bring it on!

  3. It seems autumn is on the horizon almost everywhere north of the Mason Dixon line :)

Today was a beautiful day here too Carrie. The kind you wish would come a LOT more often. Right now it's a little brisk, but we just ate outside (with a long sleeved top on) and we are going to start a fire now in our firepit! It's finally ready!!

    1. OOoooohh - that's the perfect kind of day!! Yay for the firepit! I bet it's wonderful and now you can take the time to get lots of enjoyment from it. There's truly nothing better than a Fall fire when the air is more brisk. ;)
      Pure heaven my Dear. xoxo

  4. It seems we are having the same weather! Candles are even better when it's cool out. I don't do instagram - maybe someday!

    1. I agree - love the mood candles give when it's cooler out. I think you'd like IG Mari. It's nice as it's not something where you need to write a lot. Just share a photo or what's going on in a given moment - just quick. So fun to look at others' photos. I follow a lot of folks (like celebrities or activities I'm interested in too.). So fun! ;)

  5. Autumn is my favorite time of year! Now you are getting me in the mood for all the things I love about the upcoming season. We are still hot here, which is very strange, because usually we have cool summers, but the forecast calls for rain this weekend, finally! I love snuggling up with hot chocolate in front of a warm fire :) xo Karen
