Wednesday Wonder

Welcome All Fairies

The fairies have come back to Annie's garden and she couldn't be happier! She welcomes them all and still dreams of spotting a real one. We planted one big fairy pot and we have one more to do, but here's a peek so far.

Wonder what's happening behind that fence?

It looks like the fairies and Mr. Frog are planning some kind of game

She's crossing the path with her ball and telling the others "Follow me!"

You can see on the left they have their own hanging basket of flowers and even a croquet set!

Another fun pot and a couple more fairies flew in for a visit.

    1. Thanks Mari! I just treasure these moments with her and especially when I know it's fleeting!! She just turned 9 and I don't know how much longer the magic will last. ::sigh::

  3. Oh I love this! You and Annie have done a great job at creating a very special spot for the fairies. The tiny rocks are perfect! I've been wanting to make a fairy garden for a couple of years, and hopefully I can get to it this year. I was in the gardening store on the weekend, and they had a flat of "fairy garden plants" (ie. plants with very tiny leaves) for $50!! I was stunned! They have such a lot of fairy accessories too, but I'm planning on doing this on the cheap ... homemade ;)

    1. Thanks Wendy!! We have such fun with it and I hold on to each precious second while the magic lasts with Annie.

That's outrageous for plants!! I found some at a local green house that were also labeled fairy plants for far cheaper. However, you're so right that there are lots of ways to be creative and do it on the much cheaper. ;)

Have to take photos of yours too! xoxo

  6. Adorable! Carrie, you simply HAVE to hop on a plane and get here pronto. I have a rather large, hollowed out tree stump just begging for a fairy garden to be put there.

So when shall I expect you?

    1. Oh don't tempt me! No kiddos to referee, no house to clean, peace and quiet.....

Your hollowed out tree stump would be a perfect spot!! And I know how creative you are, so you can do it Doll!! However, the idea of "Carrie & Annie:Fairies for Hire" has a nice ring to it. ;)

    1. I bet your boys would love helping you do one! There are probably fairies that would love to hang out with a race car or hop on a truck or 2. Your fairy garden could have whatever you want. ;)
