NORTHWOODS SCRAPBOOK: Sharing a love for my faith, family, cooking, gardening, paper crafting, and hospice work from my cozy home on a bay in the Northwoods.
Just look at that beautiful green grass and the trees starting to leaf out! You have such a gorgeous little piece of paradise - so pretty with the lake behind the trees, peeking through. (Do I see Birch trees? -they are my faves) Your deck is wonderful and your new flower baskets are so bright and pretty. Wishing you many happy hours enjoying your much awaited spring sunshine! Hugs xo K
Thanks Karen! Yep, we have several birch trees around the property and they're one of my faves too! I'm so grateful for our little "island" and bit of paradise and still pinch myself (even after 8 years!) that I get to live here. I'm one blessed Gal.
Hope you're enjoying your bit of paradise and flowers and sunshine too as we get ready for a nice long Memorial weekend. xo
Your basket is gorgeous, and gosh, how green your grass is!!! Ours is already looking dry and starting to get scruffy. You must be so very happy to see everything looking so very lovely!!! xx
Thanks Amy! We had so much rain recently and our lawn started growing like crazy! I was teasing my hubby that we're going to need to get some sheep pretty soon if he doesn't get mowing. Lol xo
It's hard when spring takes its own sweet time, but this is the best part when everything turns that miraculous green colour in the trees! You have a gorgeous spot, and those stairs down to the waterfront ... gosh, that's a bit of workout! enjoy your day! Wendy
